Dr. Wendy Wang

Veterinarian
Dr. Wendy Wang was born in Taiwan and immigrated to Vancouver with her family in 1998. It has been her childhood dream to become a veterinarian. Dr. Wang studied at UBC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Biology; and graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2016.

She mainly sees canine and feline patients and has a special interest in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Acupuncture, herbal medicine, and food therapy.
Dr. Laís, experienced small animal vet with expertise in clinical care, surgery, nutrition, and anesthesia, dedicated to high-quality veterinary medicine.

Laís has extensive experience in small animal clinical care and surgery, with specialized knowledge in nutrition and anesthesia. Passionate about veterinary medicine, she is dedicated to providing high-quality care and staying up to date with the latest advancements to ensure the best outcomes for her patients.
r. Shuichi Tabei, veterinarian specialized in aquatic veterinary medicine and epidemiology, with 8 years of experience in primary care for cats and dogs.

Dr. Shuichi Tabei is a veterinarian with eight years of experience specializing in aquatic veterinary medicine and epidemiology. He is dedicated to promoting animal health and welfare, with a strong focus on disease prevention and management within aquatic species. 

In addition to his expertise in aquatic care, Dr. Tabei also provides comprehensive primary health care for domestic animals, including cats and dogs, ensuring they receive compassionate and high-quality veterinary attention.
Dr. Daniel, veterinarian with 13 years in private practice and specialist referral, focusing on small animal internal medicine.

Dr. Daniel graduated with his degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2011. He went on to complete his Honours degree in 2014. He has worked in private practice for 13 years, including almost 5 years at a specialist referral practice. Daniel has a special interest in small animal internal medicine.
Dr. Saskia Cowles, veterinarian with over 10 years’ experience, formerly equine vet, now caring for dogs and cats with a strong animal welfare focus.

Dr. Saskia Cowles has been a practicing veterinarian for over 10 years and has had a lifelong passion for animals. Growing up, she trained her family’s German Shepherds and spent much of her time riding horses, experiences that shaped her dedication to animal care. After qualifying as a veterinarian, she began her career in equine practice, where she worked for three years before transitioning into small animal medicine, focusing on dogs and cats. Dr. Cowles is deeply committed to animal welfare and goes above and beyond to help every sick or injured pet that comes into her care.

Dr. Arissa Vasconcelos, compassionate veterinarian skilled in small animal medicine, emergency care, and complex soft tissue surgery with a postgraduate degree.

Dr. Arissa Vasconcelos is a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian who graduated in 2019. She holds a postgraduate degree in Small Animal Surgery and is skilled in performing both simple and complex soft tissue procedures. With experience in small animal medicine and emergency care, Dr. Vasconcelos is committed to providing high-quality treatment and ensuring the best possible outcomes for her patients.
Vicky Jean McGee, South African vet with diverse experience treating wildlife and domestic animals, passionate about nature and animal welfare.

Veterinarian
Dr. Vicky Jean McGee graduated from the Onderstepoort Veterinary Faculty in South Africa in 2020. Since then, she has worked as a locum veterinarian across the country, gaining extensive experience treating a wide variety of species from iconic wildlife such as rhinos, elephants, and lions to domestic pets, horses, production animals, and exotic species.

Her deep love for nature, animals, and the outdoors inspires both her personal and professional life. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her horse and two dogs, a Spaniel and an Australian Cattle Dog, as well as running and exploring the natural beauty of South Africa. Dr. McGee believes every day brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and find balance in the ever-evolving world of veterinary medicine.
